About Me

I have ridden horses all my life, with my first taste of Eventing whilst living in America- at the Kentucky Horse Park (where Rolex CCI**** is held).

I decided that horses were going to play a great role in my life during my JRN years; and spent my GAP year as a working pupil for John-Paul Sheffield, gaining invaluable experience of the eventing world. It was then that I decided if I was going to enjoy University, horses were going to have to feature greatly. As I was dedicated to competing, and producing young horses, my only choice of Universities was Hartpury College- as they were involved in the Young Riders Squad, and had fantastic facilities for producing my horses... not to mention the course! I spent the three years at Hartpury training my team of horses with various different trainers including: Carl Hester, Nick Burton, Jamie Foyers, Nigel Taylor, and Patsy Bartram.

Fortunately, as my main horse was injured during my first year, I happened upon a horse to follow and to be her (rather more successful) successor! Following a good year competing at CCI** level and advanced, Talk Time lead me to my first representation for my country, in Portugal at the European Championships in 2004. She is now competitng at CCI*** level.

Now that I have graduated I have moved home, where I am competing and producing horses full time (and breeding for the future). Plans are underway to expand the yard, including an indoor school, and more houses for horses!

I am pleased to say, I have also acquired three sponsors: My main sponsor is Andy Wheals... The Saddle Man... has provided me with his new close contact jumping and dressage saddles; Olympic Horse Feeds, and Solitaire Horseboxes. The links to these web-sites can be found in my 'Links' section. I would also like to thank Web-Cites.com for sponsoring me with this website.
